Profiling, Neutrality, and Social Equality

I argue that traditional views on which beliefs are subject only to purely epistemic assessment can reject demographic profiling, even when based seemingly robust evidence. This is because the moral failures involved in profiling be located decision not suspend judgment, rather than supposing themselves a locus of evaluation. A key reason judgment faced with adverse evidence promote social equality—this explains why positive dubious, along more familiar cases negative and suspect no particular action at stake.
